Emma & Ryan | Drumore Estate Spring Wedding

I’m super excited to share the details from Emma and Ryan’s gorgeous spring wedding at Drumore Estate in Lancaster, PA. This was my first wedding shoot of 2024, and what a way to start the season! It was held in April, and the wedding was filled with cool spring colors like pastel blues and purples, and the vibes were just as warm and inviting as the weather.

A Special First Look

One of the sweetest parts of the day was Emma’s first look with her dad instead of Ryan. It was incredibly touching. Her dad’s reaction when he saw Emma in her wedding dress was priceless – such a big, emotional moment filled with smiles and a few happy tears. It was clear how much he loves his daughter, and capturing that was really special for me.

Fun Times with the Wedding Party

Before everything kicked off, I caught Ryan and his buddies playing a game on their phones like Charades while they waited. They were having a blast, and it set a really relaxed, fun tone for the day.

The photos in front of the mansion are some of my favorites. The architecture and the way it matched the wedding’s color theme were just perfect.

The Venue: Drumore Estate

Drumore Estate itself is stunning. With its elegant architecture and beautiful gardens, it’s a dream location for any photographer. We took advantage of every corner, from the grand balconies to even the bathrooms (yes, you read that right!). The bathrooms had these amazing golden fixtures and mirrors that made for some unexpectedly awesome photos.

Ceremony and Celebrations Under the Sun

I loved capturing the outdoor ceremony, set along a charming garden path at Drumore Estate. The sun was bright, the air was just right, making everything feel absolutely perfect.

During the reception, everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves, especially when the family’s funny tradition of passing down a quirky statue came up. Now, it’s Emma and Ryan’s turn to keep the statue until the next family wedding!

Spring Colors and Light

The venue was lit up with natural light pouring in, making every color pop and every smile a little brighter. The greens of the gardens and the soft hues of the flowers made the whole place look like a page out of a fairy tale. I was totally in love with the energy and how the light played around us, creating some really magical shots.

Golden Hour Perfection

We snuck out during the golden hour, and oh boy, am I glad we did! The light was phenomenal, and it really highlighted the love and joy between Emma and Ryan. These shots are definitely some of my top picks from the day.

A Heartfelt Conclusion to a Beautiful Day

We ended the day with a simple yet touching send-off, where all the guests clapped and cheered for Emma and Ryan. This simple moment really showed how beautiful and heartfelt simple gestures can be. Capturing Emma and Ryan’s wedding was more than just a job for me; it was a privilege to be part of such a joyful and loving day.

If you're planning your wedding and want someone who cares about capturing both the big and small moments, let's talk! I’d love to help make your wedding memories as beautiful and heartfelt as Emma and Ryan’s.

Reach out, and let’s plan something wonderful for your big day!
